Weeks 9 & 10 of Development

For these two weeks of development my focus was on responding to feedback from testing, and adding a few extra features that I thought of. One bit of feedback that I got was that the game should be much faster, so I increased the speed of the obstacles to introduce more challenge. Moreover, I added difficulty options to allow the player to choose the kind of experience that they want. I also added the ability for the player to pause the game so they can restart of exit to the main menu. I also added fish into the background of the game to make it clearer that the submarine is moving, as since the obstacles are invisible the player has not frame of reference to see that they are accelerating or slowing down. As well as this I fixed an issue with the targets in the tutorial, making it so that the sonar interacted with them properly. Moreover, I added sound effect for the menu buttons and also tried to balance the sound effects in the game so that they are not too loud. Finally, I put all of the different objects on layers to ensure that they appear properly.
